A car caught fire this morning on the A58 near Oirschot. This happened around a quarter past eight, while the driver was driving from Tilburg towards Eindhoven. The driver managed to get to safety in time. The fire spread quickly. The car was severely damaged. Rijkswaterstaat closed the right lane so that the fire brigade could extinguish the car. A salvage company was called in to recover the car.
