The police are looking for witnesses to an accident in Breda in which a 49-year-old woman from that place broke her leg last Wednesday. The woman was riding her motorcycle on Robijnstraat around half past three when, as she later explained to the police, she had to swerve for a cyclist who crossed the road from Brabantplein without looking. The woman made an emergency stop, went down and got her motorcycle on her.
The cyclist stopped briefly, but then drove on without leaving her details. It would be about a 50-70 year old woman with short red or blond hair. She was wearing a blue and purple jacket and she had two luggage bags attached to her bicycle. The police are calling on her to come forward. The police would also like to get in touch with witnesses to the accident.
