Because FC Den Bosch supporters have recently been in the news after several disturbances, the municipality and the police took extra security measures in and around the stadium during the cup match against Ajax last night. There were extra cameras and security in the stadium.

Supporters were stopped outside on arrival at the Vliert. They had to show an ID and an entrance ticket. In case disturbances break out, supporters have been photographed by the police in advance, a 112 correspondent reports.

The police had indications that foreign supporters would come to Den Bosch. Supporters with a foreign identity were therefore immediately sent away and received an area ban for the whole of Den Bosch and the surrounding area.
