18.50: Fire in the fireplace in Wedde
In Wedde, a chimney fire raged for some time in a house on the Veerlaan. It was scaled down to medium heat, because in addition to the tanker sprayers from Oude Pekela and Vlagtwedde, the cherry picker from Winschoten was also called.

A motorist drove into a raised manhole on Spoorsingel in Ter Apel in the night between Sunday and Monday.
The impact caused the total loss of the car. Nobody was injured.
According to the car owner, a manhole cover had also been loosened and raised further down the road. He thinks there is an act of vandalism and offers a reward of one thousand euros for the gold tip.
