It is a fairly busy morning rush hour this morning, according to the ANWB. Around eight o’clock there was about 700 kilometers of traffic jams throughout the Netherlands. The traffic on the road is not necessarily due to the predicted slipperiness, says an ANWB spokesperson. “It is especially busy on the road on Tuesdays and Thursdays because many people go to the office on those days.”
In Brabant it is busy on the A50 from Oss to Eindhoven, among other things. Due to an accident, the right lane is closed, so road users have to take into account a delay of 45 minutes. On the A2 between Nederweert and the Leenderheide junction, road users also experience a delay of about 45 minutes.
