112 news: car upside down in Veghel • emergency stop train due to rail runner

After a short chase, running through a meadow, officers arrested a 28-year-old man suspected of drug trafficking last night. This happened at the Gastelsebaan in Rucphen.

Surveillance officers saw the man closing a suspected drug deal from a car around ten o’clock last night. They decided to check on him, but he already took off. On the A58 they gave the motorist a stop sign. After which he stopped at a gas station near Rucphen, got out and took off. However, the suspect did not get far.

In a meadow, the police caught up with him. It turned out to be a 28-year-old man without a fixed place of residence or residence in the Netherlands. Officers found dozens of packages containing hard drugs in his car. His car has been seized and the suspect is in custody for questioning.
