At SGS Food Analystics, a company in Oosterhout, nitric acid and hydrochloric acid accidentally came into contact with each other on Wednesday afternoon. The thirty to forty people who were in the business premises were all sent outside. They had to wait there, in the shadows, for an investigation by the fire brigade. According to the spokesperson for the security region, a ‘gas suit team’ and a specialized company have been called in.
The report of the incident came in just after half past three, gradually it turned out that there was more going on. SGS is located at Everdenberg and carries out environmental and food and feed analysis.
