Around 8 p.m., the emergency services were alerted to a traffic accident at De Engtoep in Rosmalen. The fire brigade was also sent along because the vehicle was believed to be on fire. At the scene, a car appeared to have come to a stop from a parking space in the bushes against a pole. That happened right in front of a large apartment building.
The driver of the vehicle was rushed to hospital. The Mobile Medical Team also came to the scene and the trauma doctor accompanied the ambulance. Firefighters have shielded the emergency services to the driver from bystanders. It is not clear whether the car was on fire, according to a 112 correspondent. The area was cordoned off with ribbons.
