21:45 – Girl in the water in Middelharnis
At Herman Heijermanssigel in Middelharnis, a girl fell into the water for unknown reasons. The emergency services intervened en masse. Helicopter rescue was also called to provide first aid. Someone who had seen this happen quickly pulled the victim out of the water.
A police spokesperson said he looked serious for a while, but the victim was taken to the hospital with shortness of breath. The exact age is still unknown, but he is still a teenager. Incidentally, the trauma helicopter was again canceled shortly before landing and was no longer needed.
20:03 – Truck accident on the A15 near Gorinchem

17:30 – House in Dordrecht closed for illegal sex work
A house on the Leerparkpromenade in Dordrecht must be closed for a month by the mayor. During a checkup, two prostitutes were found in the building who sexually gratified their clients for a fee.
They also used the whole house for their work. The two do not live in the Netherlands and it turned out that they had previously worked in several Dutch cities. The person who rented the building received a severe reprimand from the municipality of Dordrecht. The owner of the property voluntarily collaborated in the closure.
16:15 – Woman in Hellevoetsluis taken from severely hypothermic water
A woman was taken from the Haringvliet near Hellevoetsluis. She stood there in the water, clinging to a buoy. The woman was taken to the hospital for severe hypothermia. Police say she slipped while she was walking her dogs. The dogs did not end up in the water and were treated by the emergency services.
15:30 – You are arrested in the drug investigation
The police have arrested six people in various places in our country, including our region, because they have something to do with drugs. Investigations into this had already begun last year. The reason for this was the discovery of ecstasy and amphetamine pills in a truck.
The cargo came from a company warehouse in Oostrum, Limburg. The value of the road is between 10 and 15 million euros. An investigation led to the arrest of six men this morning. These are three suspects aged 21, 27 and 31 from Vlaardingen. The other suspects come from Rijswijk, Venlo and Waddinxveen.
10:48 – Boy (13) arrested with machete in Spijkenisse
A 13-year-old boy was arrested on Monday afternoon with a machete in Spijkenisse. A 16-year-old boy was also arrested. He also had a machete with him.
Police were called around 3pm that two boys were walking along the Marrewijklaan wearing face masks. The officers met the two on the Drempelpad. The boys immediately started running. Both boys dropped their machetes. Both boys were arrested in Groene Kruisstraat.
The boys are from Rotterdam. It is not known what they did in Spijkenisse.
08:15 – The Maassluis Rozenburg ferry service has been stopped due to a malfunction
Due to a technical malfunction, the Maassluis Rozenburg ferry service will be out of service indefinitely from 4 October, the operator Blue Amigo reports. The buses are used for cyclists and pedestrians. It is not known how long the outage will last. The ferry is located in Damen Schiedam. Previously, the ferry service rush hour ferry failed. It is still awaiting repair.
