The conductor smelled burning in the Intercity Direct from Rotterdam to Amsterdam, after which the fire brigade and ProRail were deployed. There was no smoke or fire, according to firefighters. There may be a short in the train. It is not yet clear if there were any passengers. This train has been cancelled, but the next Intercity Direct from Rotterdam to Amsterdam will resume running according to schedule.
