Another 1110 people were confirmed infected with the coronavirus in Lithuania last day, and seven deaths caused by Covid-19 were registered, the Department of Statistics announced on Wednesday.
The proportion of 7726 analyzes performed last day and the proportion of positive tests was 14.4%.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8 599 096 analyzes and 1 051 249 cases of infection have been detected in Lithuania.
A total of 9,033 people died with Covid-19 in Lithuania.
There are currently 690 Covid-19 patients in hospitals, 40 of whom are in intensive care.
According to the Department of Statistics, the 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population in Lithuania has decreased to 550.7.
A total of 1,949,896 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lithuania, of whom 1,873,833 have completed the primary vaccination course. 925,706 people were vaccinated.
