In Utrecht, 1100 voting passes for the Provincial States and Water Board elections have not been delivered. This is because one PostNL deliverer did not deliver the mail. The municipality of Utrecht will file a report.

The affected residents live in the Overvecht and Voordorp districts, reports RTV Utrecht. A citizen of Utrecht has reported to the municipality because of the lack of voting passes. An investigation at PostNL subsequently showed that there was one delivery person who did not deliver all the mail. It is unclear where the undelivered mail has gone.

The voters for whom the voting passes were intended will receive a new one. To prevent fraud, undelivered voting passes will be declared invalid.
