NEW YORK — An 11-year-old boy ended up in the hospital after a sudden attack by a dog in Manhattan on Tuesday.
The incident took place around 2:50 p.m., when officers received a 911 call from 54 Catherine Street, between Madison and Monroe streets.
The unidentified 11-year-old boy was bitten by a dog and treated for head and arm trauma at Bellevue Hospital.
The boy is expected to recover from the injuries sustained.
The dog was taken into police custody.
