The NYPD closed part of West 44th St. near Times Square yesterday amid reports that objects were falling from the elevated floor of a hotel, leaving one woman injured.
NYPD was called to 36-story InterContinental Times Square hotel just before 5 p.m. and found a 24-year-old woman with a cut on her head in the street, he reported Daily News.
Apparently two children threw glass bottles of alcohol from the 32nd floor of the hotel, injuring a woman who was below and causing the street to be temporarily closed, according to police sources. The minors, a 12-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl, were staying with their guardians when they carried out the dangerous prank.

All charges are mere accusations and those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
