The seven provinces on green alert are: San Pedro de Macorís, La Vega, Santo Domingo, María Trinidad Sánchez, the National District, El Seibo, Monte Plata and Duarte.
While on yellow alert are: Samaná, Hato Mayor and Sánchez Ramírez.
Faced with this situation, the COE recommended that people refrain from crossing rivers, streams and ravines that have high volumes of water, not to use spas, in the provinces under alert and maintains the ban on the use of spas, in the provinces under alert .
