Measures to prevent and contain COVID-19:
• Maintain mandatory isolation at home.
• Frequent hand washing or the use of gels or disinfectants.
• Wear a mask when you have flu symptoms or previous illnesses that warrant it and when you go out.
• Take measures to limit physical contact in greetings.
• Remember that the most susceptible population are adults over 70 years of age, with whom we have to be alert to the signs that they present: respiratory distress, fever that does not improve or deterioration of the general state. In addition, they should limit contact with people with flu symptoms.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection is the only entity in charge of informing the public, officially, of confirmed cases throughout the national territory. (End / Miguel Peña Caro – Press Secretary of Health – UACP).
