Some players of the Al-Ahly first team have left the accounts of Marcel Koller, the coach, in the match of the Tunisian Union Monastir, to be held in the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly will face Tunisia’s Al-Ittihad at 18:00 tomorrow, Saturday, at the Al-Ahly Wei Salam Stadium, for the second leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.
The Swiss Kohler has announced the list of Al-Ahly who will compete in tomorrow’s match against Al-Ittihad in Monastir, and assisted Behind the attacking trio formed by Hossam Hassan, Shadi Hussein and Mohamed Sherif was midfielder Ahmed Nabil Kouka, as well as Brazilian Bruno Savio.
Marcel Koehler has decided to exclude 11 players from the final list for the match, including Hamza Alaa, Rami, Rabia, Yasser Ibrahim, Mohamed Maghribi, Mohamed Ashraf, Mohamed Mahmoud, Ziad Tariq, Mohamed Fakhry, Mido Nabil, Percy Tau and Mustafa Saad .
The exclusion of South African Percy Tau and midfielder Mohamed Fakhry came due to lack of physical preparation, while the rest of the players were excluded for the technical point of view of coach Marcel Koehler.
Al-Ahly defeated Monastir’s Al-Ittihad with an unanswered goal, scored by the team’s defender, Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, in the first leg which took place at the Mustafa Ben Jannat stadium in Monastir, Tunisia.
