11 Legislators from Movimiento Ciudadano announced donation of one month salary to DIF Capullos

Monterrey.- After a tour of the DIF Capullos, 11 Legislators from Movimiento Ciudadano announced that they will donate one month of their salary to care for minors housed in said property.

This was announced by the coordinator of the MC fraction, Eduardo Gaona on behalf of the party, who revealed that they will donate about 660 thousand pesos after adding all the salaries of one month of the Movimiento Ciudadano legislators.

“We want to announce that we are going to donate a month of our salary (to DIF Capullos) so far we are 11,” who added “in that sense the sum would almost amount to 660 thousand pesos,” said the MC Coordinator.

Inside the DIF Capullos, they were given a talk inside the auditorium, to also present part of the institution’s staff that provides support to the young inmates.

Likewise, he invited the other deputies of the State Congress to join the cause in support of the minor children housed in the DiF, who according to revealed that if all the legislators joined, about 2.5 million pesos would be allocated.

“I extend an Invitation to the 42 deputies within the Congress of all colors, since they were all here, no one can say that they were not represented by any faction they could see.” Who added “If we all entered, we would add 2.5 million pesos (in support)”

The tour was accompanied by Mariana Rodríguez, who presented part of the DIF facilities to legislators to show them how they operate and how the facilities are.

Given this, the congressman highlighted the state in which the four DIF Capullos villas are located, but revealed that there are still areas of opportunity to give minors a better stay.

“Right now, well, in reality it is still there, the issue of the villas is being built, this has, for example, a goal of reaching 16 facilities of this type. So we saw that they were finished, there are still more that are being built and in that sense beyond the villas as well, it is about supporting with specialists and with people” revealed the Congressman.

Among the deputies that appeared at the facilities were Federal Deputy Wendy Cordero, local legislator Paola Coronado, Itzel Castillo and Lilia Olivares, as well as Annia Sarahí Gómez of the National Action Party (PAN).

On behalf of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), legislators Ricardo Canavati, Anita González and Jessica Martínez, Perla Villarreal, and Gabriela Govea were present at their formal presentation abroad of the DIF Capullos.

In turn, representing the Movimiento Ciudadano (MC), Eduardo Gaona, coordinator of the MC fraction, attended, as well as Roberto Farías.
