The latest regulations, each club can use six foreign players in League 1.

Now League 1 clubs are busy using Filipino players.
One of the League 1 clubs that brought in Filipino players was PSM Makassar.

One ASEAN player brought by PSM Makassar is Kike Linares.
Kike Linares, a Spanish-born player with a Filipino passport.
Kike Linares plays as a defender.
It will be a duet with Yuran Fernandes guarding the goal of PSM Makassar.
Apart from PSM Makassar, other clubs that also brought in Filipino players were Mike Ott (Barito Putera), Daisuke Sato (Persib Bandung).
Anthony Pinthus (PSS Sleman), Simen Lyngbo (Persik Kediri), and Christian Rontini (Persita Tangerang).
Mike Ott and Daisuke Satu have been playing in League 1 since last season.
Meanwhile, 4 other names will only make their debut next season.
