11 Indonesian national team players left for Bahrain early Sunday morning

11 players Indonesia national team from League 1 in Jakarta, Saturday (5/10/2024). They then left for Bahrain, Sunday (6/10), early morning WIB.

According to the first plan, the local players were first gathered in Jakarta. They are Ernando Ari, Nadeo Argawinata, Rizky Ridho, Muhammad Ferarri, Wahyu Prasetyo, Ricky Kambuaya, Witan Sulaeman, Egy Maulana Vikri, Malik Risaldi, Dimas Drajad, and Hokky Caraka.

Indonesian National Team Manager, Sumardji, ensured that all players in Jakarta were fit. After the Bahrain team there will be players from abroad later.

“This afternoon all the players who are playing in BRI Liga 1 have gathered. Officials have also gathered. I checked everyone one by one and their condition is very good,” Sumardji told reporters.

“No one was injured. While in Bahrain, the medical team will definitely improve the condition of the Indonesian national team players who are not fit enough,” he said.

The Indonesian national team will be hosted by Bahrain on the third day of Round 3 of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers This match will be presented at the Bahrain National Stadium, Riffa, on October 10.

After that, Garuda will continue its work by challenging host China. This fourth match will be held on October 15.

Shin Tae-yong’s team will board a charter plane from Bahrain to China. PSSI chose this to reduce player fatigue as there are no direct commercial flights to Qingdao, where the China vs Indonesia match is taking place.
