Mothers need to avoid some foods when coughing. Certain types of food can make mucus accumulate in the throat even more in the lungs.

Mucus buildup in the lungs is dangerous for health. This mucus buildup can make you cough non-stop even though you don’t feel relieved to breathe.

The results found that both groups produced more mucus after eating sugar.

The study also found that people with asthma had a greater response to sugar, producing more mucus than healthy participants. This suggests that sugar can exacerbate asthma symptoms.
