Devi (33) pulled a black suitcase from the row of things in front of the Head’s room Lingga Kencana Vocational School Depok, West Java, Monday (13/5). A mad smell also came out from the side of the hill.
At the front of the room were piled bags, shoes, jackets and suitcases. There are spots like dried blood stuck between the objects.
The items were taken from the Trans Putera Fajar tourist bus that was involved in an accident in Subang, West Java, on Saturday afternoon (11/5). The bus was carrying a group of students from Lingga Kencana Vocational School, Depok.
As a result of the accident 11 people died. Nine of them were students, one person living around where the incident took place, and one teacher.
Devi was one of the many families of victims who came to the school to collect things. His sister, Dea, was among those injured in the accident.
“This is a briefcase, then a bag. There’s a mukenah. It’s just a sling bag, a wallet, an ID card, a cell phone. No yes,” said Devi.
Based on Dea’s story, Devi said that Devi was sitting on the bus in the back seat on the left side.
When the bus turned, Devi said her sister was unconscious. De only realized when she heard a scream from her friend.
“On the bus, he was there No know what happened. “Just being called by his friend ‘Good, Good’ woke him up immediately, he was conscious,” he said.
He said that his brother and another colleague got out through a gap in the top of the bus.
“Next to the AC, above the AC, his friend had broken into it. So it was helped that’s where it comes out. “Through the AC hole, as the position (of the bus) is already tilted,” said Devi.
He said that Dea is now receiving treatment at home. He said his younger brother had bruises on his body as a result of the accident.
“The condition of the body is sick, still traumatized.” He still likes to watch. Sometimes when we No If you talk to me, you’ll just be stupid. His friends may still remember him,” said Devi.
A similar story was told by one of the survivors, named Ega. He admitted that he felt nervous when the bus turned.
“My body felt like it was tossing and turning. Then I woke up and immediately realized that save yourself,” said Ega.
He also left the bus through the roof. Ega admitted that he saw many of his friends also trying to get out on top of the bus.
“I am congratulations who sat next to me. I looked for him, thank God he was No Dad, I’ll go straight get out “It’s the same with me too,” said Ega.
At the same time, before the accident happened, Ega admitted that he heard the grandfather saying that the brakes of the buses had failed.
He admitted that he heard this after the bus continued on its way after stopping for lunch in the afternoon.
“After that, we started, after a few meters, and as far as I know, I called a friend who said that the brakes failed. Well, there was a little panic, then her everyone shouting, making peace. Then a few more meters, the car fell, it turned back,” he said.
Not only that, he said that there was a problem with the bus he was riding in on his way out.
However, Ega admitted that he did not know about the problems that happened with the bus.
“I am No I knew what the problem was, I just had time to stop, I forgot which area, just when I was about to leave. “It took a very long (stop) 30 minutes,” he said.
