Vitória Sport Club is disgusted with the content of a 10th grade Philosophy manual, which addresses the case of the player Marega – target of racist chants in a game between V. Guimarães and FC Porto, in 2020 -, and demands the withdrawal of that case study from this book.
The club issued a statement, saying that the matter in question “potentiates the creation of an unjustified stigma on thousands of supporters and on a club that celebrates, within two months, its centenary”.
