The Minister of Sports, Franck Nguema, spoke last weekend after the fifth edition of the 10bKM of Port-Gentil, won by the Kenyan, Vincent Kipkemoi. Beyond the still very high level of the race this year and the good organization, the member of the government also wanted to salute the enthusiasm that this event arouses among the local populations.
“This year, more than 13,000 registered, including just over 3,000 children aged 12 to 15 and of course an exceptional elite line-up. I greatly thank the people of Port-Gentil who have once again demonstrated that their city is truly one of the sports capitals of Gabon. Here there is always a strong enthusiasm not only for the 10 KM, but also for the Tropicale Amissa Bongo, in cycling”, he indicated.
