According to the social authority, a total of 76,338 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the pandemic began. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 72,500 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.

The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days has risen within one day – from 21.5 on Monday to 25.2 on Tuesday. A week ago the value was 37.3.

Less than 100 corona patients in Hamburg’s clinics

According to the social authorities, 95 corona patients are treated in Hamburg’s hospitals. 47 people are cared for in intensive care units. According to the RKI, 1,563 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. No further death was recorded within one day.
