For those who do not know, the Honor MagicWatch 2 is a clone of the Huawei Watch GT 2. We then find almost the same design, the same components or the same functionalities. That said, that’s not a bad thing since they’re both excellent smartwatches.

The 46mm model offers a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen accompanied by the Always-On Display, a feature initiated by l’Apple Watch Series 5. This allows you to keep the screen constantly on and we must admit that it is rather practical on a daily basis. This mainly avoids touching the screen of his watch to display the time, for example. The panel is also very bright with 800 cd / m², which is ideal for seeing what it displays on the sunniest days.
The MagicWatch 2 is then equipped with many sensors to track the activity of its user, through dual frequency GPS (for more accuracy) to the TruSeen 3.5 heart rate sensor. As usual, it is possible to consult some information from the screen via the Lite OS interface, but it goes through the dedicated application (available on iOS and Android) for a more in-depth analysis of the data collected. It is also powered by the Kirin A1 chip that is also found on the Huawei side, also with Bluetooth 5.1 compatibility.
The functions are diverse and varied, with the possibility of making Bluetooth calls thanks to the built-in microphones and speakers, as well as listening to music thanks to the built-in storage of 4 GB. Autonomy is finally a great strength of this watch because it is estimated to be around a week.
