1043 new positives. One more record. 25 dead. But the order slips – Health

The examination of the epidemiological data postpones the ordinance announced by Fedriga to stem infections in small communities.

It was expected for today (Friday 21 November 2020), but, it has been learned from sources in the Region, drafting and signing have been postponed to tomorrow and the entry into force on Monday.

The measure concerns small municipalities in which the percentage of positives is higher than the population. These are mainly localities in the mountains, others in the lower Friuli area and some in the Pordenone and Isonzo areas.

Meanwhile, the data on new infections further aggravate the overall picture: in the last 24 hours they were detected 1043 positivity, the 14 percent of swabs performed. They are counted 25 deaths from Covid, the highest number recorded in one day in the region since the start of the pandemic after 28 yesterday.

They rose to 55 patients undergoing intensive care it’s at 509 hospitalized in other covid wards.

Although 176 new positivity refer to previous tests performed in private laboratories, the balance of the last three days is heavy: in total 3258 new infections, double compared to those recorded in the first half of this week, and 66 deaths, which added up the 39 that occurred between Monday and Wednesday bring the total number of victims this week to 105.

The highest number is recorded in the province of Udine, where there are 14 victims, 5 in Trieste and Pordenone, 1 in Gorizia.

Also on the front of the new cases of positivity Udine records a record, 579, never so many, there are more than a thousand in 48 hours, but it is also a record in Gorizia, with 186 cases. Pordenone follows, with 138 cases, and 128 in Trieste. Current cases of infection touch the ceiling of 13 thousand.
