104 kilos of coke in hidden space van A2 | Inland

Last Friday, employees of the National Unit saw the van driving on the highway in the direction of Amsterdam. Because the MOT of the vehicle had expired and it had previously been involved in a suspicious situation, officers decided to have the occupants put the vehicle aside.

The suspects turned out to be carrying crypto telephones. According to the police, such devices are usually used for criminal activities. Because the hidden space did not open properly, the vehicle was confiscated. The telephones were also taken away. Upon closer examination, it turned out that there were 104 kilos of cocoaine in the hidden space.

A 31-year-old Dutchman and his 24-year-old Albanian co-driver are suspected of transporting and possessing the hard drugs. The suspects were placed in custody for fourteen days by the examining magistrate on Monday.
