100th edition of the Motor Show clocks in at 265,000 visitors

“This will be the salon of green cars”, it sounded at the start of the Motor Show at Goffoy. And according to him, that expectation was fully met. Half of the 400 cars presented at the Motor Show were electrified. “This is not only about fully electric cars, but also about different types of hybrid cars or even cars that run on hydrogen: so it was really an innovative show.”

An evolution that will undoubtedly continue at the next Motor Shows, because the European Union has committed that all new cars and vans sold in the EU from 2035 must be emission-free. “We don’t yet know how realistic that is, but we do see that many companies are already strongly committed to electrification,” says Goffoy.
