$ 100,000 Tesla Model S destroyed in accident, but Tesla Cam clears owner

We have seen on so many occasions like the video cameras surrounding Tesla cars, and which are always standard, have been used to understand otherwise dubious accident dynamics. Once again the YouTube channel Wham Baam Teslacam shows us a compilation of situations, starting with one $ 100,000 Model S to be demolished after a bad accident.

The owner waited patiently for the left turn but, once the maneuver began, he was hit by another car that passed the red. Fortunately the Tesla Cam video provided the police with evidence of his innocence, and insurance companies blamed whoever caused the crash. Without the images he would have risked the opposite result.

Among the various cases described in this video, we also have one in which the policeman who went to the scene of the crash thanked for the video recovered from an involved Tesla, adding: “all cars should have this function, for sure my job would be easier“.

And in fact, the cases in which the Tesla Cam (or the Sentinel mode, the active one from a standstill) has given a big hand are really many, and it is not clear why the competition has not yet implemented similar systems.
