100 women from Zacatecas complete the Road Culture Summer Course

Zacatecas, Zac., August 5, 2022.- The Government of Zacatecas, headed by President David Monreal Ávila, through the State System for Family Development (SEDIF) and the Road Safety Police Directorate (DPSV), completed the Summer Course on Road Culture for Women Zacatecana, held at the Center for Fairs and Exhibitions of the State of Zacatecas.

During the course, they learned theory and practice in topics such as road safety and culture, basic mechanics and first aid; with this, it is intended to promote road education among Zacatecan society.

At the closing of the activities, the Honorary President of the State DIF, Sara Hernández de Monreal, announced that it will not be the first course to be held; intends to carry out three or four during the year, in conjunction with the DPSV. “We want more women to have the opportunity to receive these useful tools; these things are needed in Zacatecas, we are here to serve and work”, she added.

During the event, symbolic awards were given to Luobigilda Lira Macías, Sara Cecilia López Solís and Katy Lizbeth Luna Juárez; In addition, Lourdes Muro Félix spoke on behalf of the 100 graduates of the course, who thanked the authorities for carrying out this type of training for women.

Also present at the event was Oswaldo Caldera Murillo, director of the DPSV; Guillermo Flores Jiménez, head of Traffic Education of the Children’s Boulevard; Rafael Zacarías Reyes, in charge of the Center for Fairs and Exhibitions, and Alfredo Méndez Guerra, head of Road Safety for Health Services in Zacatecas.
