The government extends another 100% discount on Sales Tax on Luxury Goods Borne by the Government (PPnBM DTP) for motorized vehicles until the end of 2021. Previously, the incentive ended in August last month.
Extended incentives include 100% PPnBM DTP for passenger motor vehicles with engine capacity up to 1,500 cc, 50% PPnBM DTP for 4×2 passenger motor vehicles with engine capacity > 1,500 cc to 2,500 cc, and 25% PPnBM DTP for passenger motor vehicles. 4×4 with engine capacity > 1,500 cc to 2,500 cc.
In notes detik.comWith this PPnBM discount, the price of cars in the low MVP class will go down. These cars are in the class of Avanza, Xpander and others who get a 100% PPnBM discount.
With the 100% PPnBM discount, the price of a low MPV car is now in the range of Rp. 100 million. The cheapest position is occupied by the Wuling Confero car which is sold at a price of Rp. 140 million. Meanwhile, the Toyota Avanza with a 100% PPnBM discount is sold at a price of IDR 180 million.
