One hundred kilos of cocaine were found in a hidden compartment of a car. This happened during a check in the Bagven Park in Breda. A 24-year-old Belgian has been arrested. The street value of the cocaine found is approximately 7.5 million euros.
The check took place on Tuesday evening around half past six. The cocaine was packaged in several smaller packages. The car was pulled over after the license plate was recognized on the A16 highway. The car drove with invalid Belgian number plates.
The car was then impounded. During the investigation, a remote control was found in the car that moved and raised the rear seat. A large consignment of drugs was found in it.
The driver is still in custody.
