Nine offers were submitted in the tender, informs the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways. The section with a length of approx. 15.8 km, between the end of the Kock and Wola Skromowska bypass and the Lubartów Północ junction, will run approx. 70 percent. a new trail, mainly through agricultural land. In the initial section (approx. 3 km), it will run along the existing corridor of the “nineteen”.
The Firlej junction will be built at the level of Lake Kunów. Then, the route from the eastern side will bypass the town and Lake Firlej, as well as the surrounding forests. In the remaining area, the road will run parallel to the existing national road No. 19. Before Lubartów, two passenger service areas are planned – MOP Mieczysławka and MOP Wola Lisowska.
Strabag will also build service roads, viaducts, footbridges, passages for small, medium and large animals, acoustic screens and a road fence. The construction of the road is planned in the years 2023-2025.
100 km north S19
Construction of the S19 dual carriageway from the border of the province Lublin and Masovian Voivodeship to Lublin has been divided into six sections with a total length of approx. 100 km. A contract is signed with the contractor for one of them, the remaining five sections are under tender procedure, and contracts for their implementation will be signed this year:
* border of the province Lublin and Mazovia – Międzyrzec Podlaski (the most advantageous offer selected),
* Międzyrzec Podlaski – Radzyń Podlaski (tender is in progress),
* Radzyń Podlaski – Kock (tender is in progress),
* the bypass of Kock and Wola Skromowska (construction of a second road, the best offer selected),
* Kock – Lubartów (the most advantageous offer selected),
* Lubartów – Lublin (signed contract for implementation, preparation of the construction design and materials for obtaining a permit for the implementation of the road investment is in progress.
