Fireman (fireman) are still trying to extinguish a semi-permanent building fire in Kalideres, West Jakarta (Jakbar). The elimination process has been going on for 2 hours.
“Fire situation and status: yellow or cooling process,” said the statement from DKI Jakarta’s Treatment and Rescue Service Command Center (Gulkarmat), Wednesday (2/10/2024).
The cooling process means that the firefighters in general have put out a big fire. The fire brigade continued the extinguishing process by combing the remaining fire spots to prevent re-ignition.

The cooling process was done at 13.40 WIB. 100 firefighters were dispatched to the scene with 20 water pumping trucks.
Firefighters received information about the fire from a resident who called at 12.17 WIB. The location of the stall that caught fire was on Jalan Utan Jati Kampung Tabaci RT 03 RW 11, Pegadungan Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta.
“The (firing) object is a stall,” the Command Center statement said Department of DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat.
Blackout operation started at 12.29 WIB. The cause and history of this fire is still unknown. There is no information yet if there were any victims in this fire incident.
Based on a video from DKI Gulkarmat Service, thick black smoke can still be seen rising from the place of the fire.
