After 100 days of war, is now 19 percent of Ukraine under Russian control. Russia has intensified airstrikes in the Donbas to facilitate what British intelligence describes as a “sneaky advance” on the ground in the breakaway-controlled region in the east of the country.
The combination of massive airstrikes and shelling with artillery fire has given the Russians progress in recent times, according to the British Ministry of Defense’s report published on Saturday.
And now Russia has increased the use of weapons without control mechanisms, leading to even greater destruction and the danger of civilian casualties.

The battle is currently over the besieged city Sievjerodonetsk in Luhansk Oblast, which is part of the Donbas. Russia is said to have sent new reserve forces here in an attempt to secure the city, according to the Ukrainian military.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has asked the West to steel itself for a “long war of exhaustion”.
– The Ukrainians pay a high price for defending their country on the battlefield. But we also see that Russia has big losses, he said on Thursday, after a meeting with President Joe Biden in Washington DC
