Matiz immediately became a hit – affordable and quite attractive. But the almost complete lack of corrosion protection quickly disappoints owners. Rust hit everything – especially the sills, rear fenders and the lower edges of the doors. Below the bottom is even worse.
Daewoo models that are subject to rapid corrosion are:
Daewoo Lanos (1997-2008) – wheel arches, sills, brake pipes.
The end of the old and the beginning of the new century was the worst period in the history of Mercedes. Quality problems did not spare the body parts, which rust on an unprecedented scale. ML 1st generation is no exception. Rust actively absorbs sills, fenders, wheel arches and other details.
But if the ML can be forgiven for its origins, then what about the E-Klasse – a model that requires very high quality. However, with the W210, the protection of the case is extremely poor. Rust stains attack the chassis, sills, fenders, doors, cladding, window frames (under the seals), front suspension … The list of typical vulnerabilities is really long.

Mercedes A-Klasse W168 (1997-2004) – doors, fenders, trunk, sills;
Mercedes A-Klasse W245 (2005-2011) – doors, trunk, welds, trim;
Mercedes CA-Klasse W203 (2000-2006) – wheel arches, side elements, fenders.
10.Kia Cee’d / Hyundai i30 (2006-2012, 2007-2011)
These sister models boomed in the Korean automotive industry. In fact, they were the first representatives of their brands, which compared to Western competitors had nothing to be ashamed of – except for a poorly protected body.
Both cars have problems with corrosion, which is particularly zealous in attacking door panels and trunk lids. In addition, Koreans have a delicate paint and, like the Honda Civic VIII, tend to rust around door handles, moldings and fenders.
