One of the problems that causes gaining more weight is getting too many calories.
But there are several ways in which you can reduce your intake of thousands of calories per week, according to “healthline” and “eatthis”.
1- Eat pistachios:
It will help you snack more slowly, and thus you get full faster, providing you with eating more calories.
2- Use a little sauce:
Adding ketchup or mayonnaise to your food will cause you to gain more calories than necessary.
So if you use a lot of sauce, try eating less or not using it at all, to reduce the number of calories you eat.
3- Avoid sugar-sweetened drinks:
Like soda, it is also linked to obesity and type 2 diabetes, and one study suggests that consuming a lot of sugar-sweetened drinks not only adds a lot of unnecessary calories to your diet, but it may also increase your hunger.
4- Avoid adding sugar to tea and coffee:
Tea and coffee are healthy, low-calorie beverages, but eating one teaspoon of sugar adds around 16 calories to your drink.
5- Cook your own food:
When you buy food prepared by someone else, you don’t always know its contents, even meals that you think are healthy or low in calories can contain hidden sugars and fats, which increases their caloric content, thus cooking your own meals gives you better control over the number of calories. That you are eating.
6- Don’t keep fast food at home:
If you keep junk food on hand, it will be much easier to eat, so to prevent the craving for unhealthy snacks, you should keep junk food out.
7- Eating meals with vegetables a lot:
Most people do not eat enough vegetables, so filling half of your plate with vegetables is an excellent way to increase your vegetable intake while reducing high-calorie foods.
8- Eat your meals slowly:
Chewing slowly can help you feel full more quickly, which can help you eat less.
9- Drink water before your meal:
Eating water before a meal helps you feel satisfied and makes you eat fewer calories, for example, one study found that drinking just two cups of water before a meal reduces your caloric intake by about 13%, and it may also help you lose weight.
10.Eat a low-calorie snack:
Studies show that choosing low-calorie appetizers, such as light soup or salad, prevents you from overeating, and one study found that eating soup before a main meal can reduce your total calorie intake by up to 20%.
