In streaming you can find a lot of scandalous crime documentaries. Cases that captured the attention of the entire world, that caused outrage in a general way and that aroused all kinds of conspiracy theories and hypotheses about it.
Some of these documentaries focus on famous, famous or infamous characters (there are those of Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer and The Night Stalker, but also those of Bernie Madoff and Jeffrey Epstein), recounting what happened to them and focusing on the series of events and bad decisions that led them from the top to the bottom, or to prison (as in the case of Anna Delvey, who even had her own Netflix series with Julia Garner) .
What happens is that crime is addictive, we all like to know what is behind the most notorious cases and what led its protagonists to break the law and commit atrocities, and to think that they were not going to be discovered or have to pay the consequences. And although many of these cases made the news, it is always better to see them in the form of a documentary, where all the facts are presented together and we even have interviews, videos and archive images that help to understand everything a little more.
Scandalous and Famous Crime Documentaries Worth Watching:
Pamela: A Love Story – Netflix
This documentary was created by the same Pamela Anderson, as a response to the series Pam & Tommy, where he talks about the case of the theft of his sex tape with Tommy Lee, which later reached all kinds of porn media and became the first viral video of a celebrity. This isn’t exactly a crime documentary, but Anderson explains what her life was like after the video of her was stolen and posted online, making it clear that the media’s portrayal of her is not reality.
Anna Nicole Smith: You Don’t Know Me – Netflix
