“More than 10 powerful explosions thundered in Mykolaiv. The air raid continues! Do not leave your houses and shelters!”, announced the mayor of the Ukrainian city, Oleksandr Senkevich. The airstrike began this morning at 7:47 local time.
One of the targets of the attacks was the body-building university in Nikolaev. One more university was injured, announced the regional governor Nikolay Kim.
Attacks on Nikolaev, a strategic city between Kherson and Odessa, intensified after July 12, when 24 rocket craters were discovered after shelling.
The Russians attacked from the occupied territories of the Kherson region. As a result of the impact, a two-story house burned to the ground, and damage from shrapnel and a shock wave was recorded in nearby buildings. Also, in another five-story building, the tail of the missile pierced the ceiling from the 5th to the 3rd floor.
