Referee Facundo Teo showed 10 red cards in the Argentine Super Cup football match after Racing midfielder Carlos Alcaraz caused a brawl in front of Boca Juniors fans as he celebrated the 2-1 win on Monday morning GMT.
The draw prevailed 1-1 until the final minutes of extra time before Alcaraz headed the winning goal.
But his long cheering in front of opposing fans angered the Boca players, and a video showed him being pulled by the ear and thrown with the ball.
Theo, one of the referees participating in the World Cup in Qatar, decided to expel Alcaraz and also handed out five red cards to the Boca players after the clashes.
Overall, Teo kicked seven players from Boca and three from Racing during the match.
Norberto Briasco opened the scoring for the Boca champions before Matias Rojas equalized for Racing in the first half.
