10 people killed and others missing hit by snowstorms in Iran’s Alborz Mountains

TEHERAN, KOMPAS.com – At least 10 climber died and several others disappeared after the storm triggered an avalanche on the Alborz mountains, north of the capital Iran, Teheran.

According to state media reports on Saturday (26/12/2020), several climbers have not been found since Friday (25/12/2020).

The number of people who were reported missing on the climb in Alborz increased when the families concerned contacted the authorities, state television said.
