Created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, Sebastian Shaw was first introduced in X-Men #129. Shaw was the leader of the exclusive Hellfire Club, which Emma Frost was also a part of. Shaw is an extremely powerful mutant who can absorb incredible amounts of energy, which he can then manipulate to increase his strength and durability, and discharge it in the form of energy blasts.
Shaw values his wealth and power as a member of Hellfire. He manipulated Jean Gray when she was possessed by the Phoenix, hoping to use her power for his own benefit. Shaw may have a regal demeanor, but he is a power-hungry villain who would easily attract an Orange Lantern ring.

Loki, the God of Mischief, was the adopted son of Odin who turned on his brother, Thor, and fought the Avengers. For much of his life, Loki has aspired to rule Asgard and all known realms. Loki even reached the throne of Asgard in the four-part limited series titled Loki.
During the events of SiegeLoki helped Norman Osborn and the Dark Avengers orchestrate the fall of Asgard. Although Loki has helped the Marvel heroes on a few occasions, such as when he was reincarnated or when he briefly became the Sorcerer Supreme, he is still an incredibly powerful and dangerous person. Loki often falls back into his villainous and mischievous facet.

Known throughout the cosmos as the Eater of Worlds, Galactus first appeared in Fantastic Four #48 in 1966 alongside the Silver Surfer. Galactus always uses a herald to search for suitable planets to feed on. Galactus was originally a being known as Galan who existed before the Big Bang. After the new universe was formed, he acquired cosmic power.
However, his incredible power and life are only sustainable through the absorption and destruction of matter. Therefore, Galactus travels the universe and destroys worlds to preserve his own life. His motives are selfish. He only cares about self-preservation, as he would a true Orange Lantern.
2 Mephisto makes deals to get what he wants
Mephisto is the Marvel Comics version of the devil, and he makes deals like the devil. These deals have led to the creation of Ghost Rider, the reconfiguration of Peter and Mary Jane’s marriage in “One More Day” and countless other events. Although Mephisto offers things in return, such as the salvation of a loved one or more power, he always takes something for himself.
Mephisto possesses godlike power, so gaining the power of an Orange Lantern ring would bring him very little. However, the ring would seek him out. Mephisto’s motives have always been selfish, and in Amazing Spider-Man vol. 5 it was revealed that all of his dealings have been to save his own skin.
1 Norman Osborn Seeks Wealth And Power Above All
Although the true identity of the Green Goblin was a mystery throughout Lee and Ditko’s time in Amazing Spider-Man, the character possessed qualities that Norman Osborn still possesses today. In his first appearances, the Green Goblin was trying to take over the New York underworld.
After John Romita joined Amazing Spider-Man and the Goblin was revealed to be Norman, Osborn made Spider-Man his top priority. Norman’s life has been dominated by greed and selfish pursuits. In the racede Nick Spencer en ASM, it is revealed that Norman traded Harry’s soul for his own success. There is no Marvel character more ruthless and deserving of an Orange Lantern ring than Norman Osborn.
