RED CARD! Disaster approached Bayern when the second half had only been running for two minutes. Benjamin Pavard was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle at the feet of Julien Green.
3-0! Despite appearing with 10 players, Bayern were still able to score the third goal in the 68th minute. Joshua Kimmich sent a free-kick into the penalty area which Fuerth midfielder Sebastian Griesback had wrongly anticipated and led to an own goal.
GOAL! Fuerth pulled back two minutes before normal time ran out. Cedric Ittan met Timothy Tillman’s cross with a header that beat goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
The score 3-1 for Bayern’s victory lasted until the match was over. Robert Lewandowski et al brought home three points from Fuerth headquarters.
Additional three points confirm Bayern’s status as leader German League standings with 16 points. Meanwhile, Fuerth has not moved from the bottom of the standings and has only collected 1 point.
