A survey was conducted by the World Economic Forum on the least friendly countries of the world foreign tourist. The survey is part of the WEF Travel and Report on the competitiveness of tourism.
A total of 140 countries were interviewed by the WEF in 2013 and so far there has been no recent survey on a similar issue. One of the questions asked to the citizens of these countries is: “how accepted are foreign tourists in your country?”
In addition, there are a number of other parameters on how the attitude of local residents towards the presence of foreign tourists. There are also many factors behind the hostile attitude of local residents towards foreign tourists.
The political situation of the country, the economic condition of the populations of the country concerned, the originality of local residents who are indifferent to others are also taken into consideration.
Interestingly, the top two countries on the list of least friendly countries to foreign tourists come from Latin America. Then there are also two Middle Eastern countries that are on this list.
Four countries on the European continent are also included in the list of least friendly countries. The four countries are known to be part of the Soviet Union.
Surprisingly, North Korea is not on this list of the least friendly countries for foreign tourists. It is not even known why there is no country led by Kim Jong-un.
