1. Sensor Full Frame 45 MP
The EOS R5 C has a 45-megapixel full-frame 8K CMOS sensor. Capable of recording 8K/60p RAW video. Also, 4K/120fps slow motion. The camera does not need a separate audio input which is normally required in conventional high frame rate recording.
2. Active Cooling System
Canon embeds an active cooling system to provide the flexibility of shooting 8K videos for a long time. It also supports 4K / 4:2:2 / 10bit video oversampling.
3. Easier Editing
For ease of post-production, the EOS R5 C is supported by C-log 3 to produce richer color gradations for greater flexibility in the color-grading process. HDR technology with HLG and PQ formats is also useful when recording high contrast.
4. DIGIC X
The DIGIC X image processor enables continuous still shooting at 20 fps at full resolution. So it can record high quality photos and moving subjects.
5. Dual Pixel CMOS
– The EOS R5 C has a full-frame sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II technology and EOS iTR AF X, including Eye Detection AF and Animal Detection AF which can detect subject movement accurately, even when the subject is not facing the camera.
Low light performance when taking pictures in low light places can also be overcome with an ISO sensitivity of up to 51,200 and a focus brightness range of up to EV-6.
