About us:
The State Archives is a competence center for archives and regional studies. It works on a scientific basis and is an active part of a network of scientific and cultural institutions.
The State Archives are Hamburg’s memory. It takes over analogue and digital records in order to preserve them, make them accessible and make them available to citizens, scientific research, educational institutions and companies, as well as to the city council and the Senate, the administration and the judiciary. The archives date back to the 12th century.
In addition to the tasks of a state and a municipal archive, the State Archives, as an office of the Authority for Culture and Media, also performs the tasks of the highest archive and cultural property protection authority.
Your tasks:
She
– create a register of the places subject to tender,
– make inquiries with the authorities and departments of the FHH regarding the documents still available from the period before 1945,
– support the evaluation of analogue records,
– participate in the creation of archiving models and documentation profiles.
Your profile:
Necessary
University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in archival science or history or a comparable field of study
Advantageous
basic archival knowledge and experience
good communication and teamwork skills
