“The death toll, one person was seriously injured, the driver of the Toyota Fortuner vehicle numbered F-470-N,” Budi said in a statement Thursday (3/11/2022).
The accident is thought to have been caused by the driver of the third vehicle without concentration. The incident began when the three vehicles drove from Jakarta to Ciawi, Bogor Regency.
“Arriving at the scene of the accident (TKP) the driver, the third vehicle is suspected of lack of concentration and then swerved to the left of lane 1,” he said.
Then the third vehicle hit the second vehicle. Then the second vehicle hit the first vehicle.
“The final position of the first normal vehicle on the outer shoulder faces south, the normal vehicle on the grass faces south and the third normal vehicle in lane 1 faces east,” he explained.
Earlier, due to the accident, traffic jams occurred. Traffic stagnates near the crash site.
“Towards the location there was a traffic jam, but it wasn’t that long. About 200 meters,” the officer said. call center PT Jasamarga, Rafli, when contacted at 5:05 pm WIB.
The cars involved in the accident were on the far left. Currently Jasamarga officers are still heading to the crash site.
In the video that is circulating, several cars can be seen damaged in the accident. There was also a car stuck on the side of the toll road.
