Jakarta –
The government’s plan to regulate subsidized fuel purchases on October 1 may not materialize. The policy aims to make subsidized fuel distribution more targeted.
The Head of the Bureau of Communications, Public Information Services and Cooperation (KLIK) at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Agus Cahyono Adi, said his party was still studying the plan. Adequate mechanisms are required for smooth performance in the field.
“Yes, we are still investigating, we are investigating, see what the government’s objectives are. So that those who are entitled to this fuel can get it according to their needs. To get there, we are looking for the right way, so that it is neat in the field,” he said at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Central Jakarta, Friday (27/9/2024).
