1% monthly deflation and 3.2% annual inflation in September – Agro Plovdiv – 2024-10-15 12:31:00

The prices of ripe onions have fallen by nearly 14%, tomatoes have risen in price by 10 percent

Resorts and international flights have become cheaper by 28-29%

Prez September 2024 the monthly inflation is -1.0%, and the annual inflation for September 2024 compared to September 2023 is 1.2%. Year-to-date inflation (September 2024 vs. December 2023) is 0.1%, and average annual inflation for the period October 2023 – September 2024
compared to the period October 2022 – September 2023 is 3.2%.

With the biggest decrease in September compared to August 2024 are “Entertainment and culture” – a decrease of 13.7%; “Restaurants and hotels” – reduction by 2.5%; “Transport” – reduction by 2.0% and others.

The prices of goods and services in “Education” are higher – an increase of 3.3%;
“Clothing and shoes” -plus 0.8%; “Food products and non-alcoholic beverages” – plus 0.6% and others.

The prices of goods and services in the “Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels” group remain unchanged.

The food products that fell in price the most in September were ripe onions – by 13.7%, grapes – by 9.1%, pepper – by 7.3%, apples – by 5.8%, lentils – by 2.8%, margarine – by 2.3%, olives – by 2.1%, fruit juices – by 2.0%, coffee – by 1.7%, rice – by 1.4%, beans – by 1.4%, flour – by 1.1%, poultry meat – by 1.1% and others.

The prices of tomatoes increased – by 10.0%, cucumbers – by 8.9%, citrus and southern fruits – by 8.6%, leafy vegetables – by 4.4%, cabbage – by 3.8%, cottage cheese – by 3.7%, milk oils – by 2.3% , ice cream – by 2.2%, oil – by 1.7%, beer – by 1.7%, fresh and chilled fish – by 1.5%, meat from cattle – by
1.3%, full-fat fresh milk – with 1.2%, cheese – with 1.2%, vinegar – with 1.0%, pork
meat – with 1.0% and others.

In the groups of non-food goods and services, a decrease was registered in the prices of hotels in holiday centers and resorts – by 29.0%, international flights – by 27.7%, package services for holidays and tourist trips – by 22.6%, vacuum cleaners – by 3.9%, diesel fuel – by 3.5%, gasoline A95N – by 3.3%, gasoline A100N – by 2.6%, coal – by 2.6%, cooking stoves – by 2.3%, detergents – by 1.7%, furniture – by 1.1%, refrigerators – with 1.1%, washing machines and dishwashers
machines – with 1.0% and others.

In the case of non-food goods and services, there was an increase in courses for LTS drivers – by 2.8%, higher education – by 2.8%, courier services – by 2.6%, maintenance and repair of LTS – by 1.7%, floristry – by 1.6%, cinemas and theaters – by 1.6%, clothing – by 1.2%, central gas supply – by 1.2% and others.
